Input masks for dates (Excel 2003)

    Hello Excel Gurus,

I am wondering whether it is possible to apply an input format/mask for cells that contain date formatting? I would like my users to enter dates in the format of dd/mm/yy but it would be great if I could use a mask for them to follow as it is possible within Access. Has anyone got any clues for this in Excel?

    Regards

    Jocelyn

No, Excel does not have input masks that display underscores etc. to show where the user can enter data.
You can use Data | Validation to ensure that the user enters a valid date.
