Offline Folder

Ok, OI'm usually on the other end of this but...

I want to be able to take my offline webpages and put them up on a server for multiple people to view. I tried just copying but there are several index.htm and the graphics aren't in the correct folders... Does anyone know of a utility that will export these files into correct folders???

Oh no... a moderator with a graphic signature!

All those sigs get tough on us b-a-n-d-w-i-d-t-h limited people.

I guess I'm rated "A" for annoying.

But back to the topic:
In FP2K start in the Folder View, Go to the File, Import menu. Select the Import Web wizard. It will walk you importing a web from another location, including off the net. Everything should wind up in its proper folder on your system.

Actually your Sig is a bit big. Try this: (it's at http://wopr.com/w3tuserpics/WebGenii-sig.gif)

Re: Offline Folder

I know I'll get lambasted for this... but with the Lounge automatically displaying the poster's name clearly next to the message, I see no reason for sigs, or even adding your name to the end of a message. Sigs just take up screen real estate, storage space, and bandwidth. Oh, I know... 1st ammendment... la la la... creativity... la la la... personal expression... yadda yadda yadda... (I recommend painting a surrealistic painting in the nude in front of large crowd, while listening to existential poetry to meet those needs!) :-)

We all know that. BUT it's been a courtesy thing since the old Compuserve days to add the technically redundant signature. It's also nice.
Don't be such an old misery - I think I'd prefer you as naked performance artist.

Re: Offline Folder

And I would say it is the poster's log-in name which is shown automatically, which can be a far cry from their real name.
If your name has already been registered, you can still sign off with your own, and people can reply personally without having to look up your profile (if you've put it there).
I like 'em - they add a bit of personality to the posting.

Don't encourage me, Eileen! My wife will never forgive you if I start that again!
