In Line With Text (Word 2000)

    In Woody's book, Word 97 Annoyances (O'Reilly, pages 198-199), the authors hadn't figured out a workaround with VBA to make Inserting a Picture with Paste Special so that , by default, the picture is pasted as an in-line graphic. Any solution since this was book was published? I'm now working with Word 2000. Thanks.

    What are you trying to do, exactly? When I simply paste interactively in 2000, it pastes in as in-line. I would think the Selection.Paste command in VBA would work the same way. No?

    Hi RKromer,

    Will this macro do what you want?

Sub PasteGraphicInline()
    Selection.PasteSpecial DataType:=wdPasteMetafilePicture, _
    placement:=wdInLine
    End Sub

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Cheers!
