    Hyperlink on Form (2k / 2003 )

I have a table, with a column set to 'hyperlink'...
in the table you will get say 'Document1' showing but if you click it on it, it would open say 'S:/folder/something.doc'
ie it acts as a proper hyperlink..

I have a form, and have put a text box on the form, and used a dlookup, and also tried a query to place the correct field in the box.. however..
what it being displayed in the text box is for example.'

    LINE 3 - BIOBURDEN#scfsfdfs001FolderFolderFolderDocumentNam e.doc#

So, its placing the text for the hyperlink in there, plus the filepath..

I have tried setting the text box control to 'hyperlink' = yes. but that just turns the text blue. it doesn't allow you to click it on it.

a forum search revealed no insight.

The hyperlink will show and work as intended if the hyperlink field is a field in the record source of the form and if you set the control source of the text box to the name of the field. It won't work with a DLookup since DLookup returns a text value, not a real hyperlink.
