HTTPS (IE7)

A colleague has just installed IE7 and has come across a problem where he cannot access HTTPS sites. We have had a play in the Options and cannot work out how to allow access...any ideas?

I know this refers to the beta version, but may hold a clue:

Gosh...I'll pass this link to him so he can read it......so it doesn't look like there is a simple clicky button fix in the options I've missed or is this a "Go Google it" moment instead?

I dunno!
Can he get in with FF?
I presume you've discounted any firewall issue?
Does this apply to all HTTPS sites?
Is there any error message?

Wwwellll, funny you should say that because ol' Mike and I look at these problems in a very practical way and he just said "##### that for a game of soldiers" and downloaded Firefox and it works fine.

Your link to the blog was quite useful as it does appear that the site he was citing was jumping from straight HTTP to HTTPS and was a leap across security levels....we are the view of we wanted to get the job done hence the Firefox "fix"...would still want to know an official fix if there is one though

...and as for the same make, model and colour, I am still wincing with embarrassment
