    Option Group (2003 (116566.8132) SP2)

Edited by HansV to replace Word doc with the picture it contained - saves the reader a few clicks.

With the help of the Option Group wizard I have created an option group wherein the value is stored in a yes/no field. However, however it is not working. When I click on either the yes or no option nothing happens

If I'm not mistaken, you need to store the value of the option group result in a number field (value of yes = 1, value of no = 2).

In addition to Bill's reply, did you assign different Option Values to each of the option buttons?

(I'd assign -1 to the Yes button and 0 to the No button, since those values correspond to True and False)

Thanks! That did the trick. However, even though I indicated that I did not want a default value it is defaulting to "no". How can I fix that?

A Yes/No field in a table always has a value, and unless you explicitly set Yes as default value, No will be the default.
