    Email notifications (Outlook 2002)

Some of our staff have more than 1 inbox, their own and then a general delivery one. They can get email notification for new mail for their own box, but not the general delivery one. Is it possible to have an email notification for the second inbox? This means that the have to continually go to the second inbox to see if new mail has arrived. We are on exchange server.

    Thanks.

Why not create a rule to forward the general e-mail to the staff who needs it or make the general one a distribution list with the staff being members of the d/l?

If Joe's suggestion isn't acceptable, a VBA aproach, which would need modification for the mailbox address, is offered in <post:=453,740>post 453,740</post:>.

Until the general mailbox is accessed there is no wya of knowing to who the mail should be sent. Could be one of a number users withing theoffice.

What is the clue who the mail is for? Can't you setup as many rules as needed using the same criteria in the rule as you do visually?
