Calculated Field (on form) (2003 (SP2))

I really ought to be able to remember this by now, but it eludes me. I want to put a couple of unbound text boxes on a form, each makes calculations from the current record.

I just end up with the same result (a wrong one) for every record displayed.

    What am I doing wrong?

You should enter a formula in the Control Source property that refers to fields or controls in the record, e.g.

    =[FirstName] & " " & [LastName]

    or

    =[UnitPrice]*[Quantity]

Oops, it's always the simplest of things; I'd put the formula in the Default Value <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>
