    Adding/Opening Attachments (O2000 SR1)

I've recently had to reinstall Office 2000 and on opening Outlook I've found that i'm no longer able to open or attach files. On trying to open or attach a file I get the following message "Can't Create file: [filename] Right click the folder you want to create the folder in and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for this folder". This occurs no matter where i'm trying to attach the file from and the default file location for Outlook is set to a personal network folder. This is occuring with all file types: doc, xls, ppt, pdf you name it. Can anyone shed any light on this for me.

Do you get the same message if you change your default folder to your local hard drive?

I did try changing the default folder with no success i'm afraid. I was having a nightmare with Excel add ins at the time as well so just decided to blast office away and reinstall - it seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the suggestion.
