Customizing the Task Pane (Word 2003)

Is it possible to customize the New Document task pane in Word to show 6 Recently used TEMPLATES in stead of 4? I don't want to increase the recently used documents list but the Recently used TEMPLATES list. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure about changing the number of recently used templates but you can add specific templates which are independent of the recently used list.
This thread should get you started and links to a Microsoft page about customising the Task Pane.

While this article refers to Word 2002, it should be similar for Word 2003: HOW TO: Edit the Most Recently Used Template List in the New Document Task Pane in Word 2002 (scroll down to "To Change the Number of Templates Listed"). I didn't try it myself.
