    Find the last entry (2003)

I know this has been answered, but I don't know what key words will locate it, so I'll ask again. If I enter values in column J, how can I reference the last entry (last being the one at the bottom of the column)? I have found the row() function, and it seems like I should be able to use Max() and row() and . . . and there has to be a simple method.

    Thanks for your help.

If your column contains numeric entries:

    =INDEX(J:J,MATCH(9.99999999999999E+307,J:J))

If your column may contain numbers and/or text, use the following array formula (confirm with Ctrl+Shift+Enter)

    =INDEX(J1:J65000,MAX(ROW(J1:J65000)*(J1:J65000<>0) ))
