    OneNote (All)

I have been using Onenote for a while, and I was thinking how do others use it.
If you are a Onenote user post what you are doin with it.

Here are a few of mine.
Doing my family research I have a Note page for each of the persons that I am researching.
    A page with those key towns and their CORRECT spellings <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
A page with different "Tips and Tricks" that I need to refer to for my use and to post for others.
A page with accounts names for different web sites and key words to remind me what the password is.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

OneNote can do math calcs. Actually its quite fun. In any note anywhere you simply have to type the formula and = and then spacebar.
    For example type:
20*(50-30)+10/2=_ (The underscore represents a spacebar)

When you spacebar, the answer appears after =. Its as simple as that!!

See the screenshot of the calculator in OneNote! PS: This is OneNote in Office 2007!

    Hi Dave,
I have just started looking at OneNote and have started to document my goals and 'resolutions' for 2008. I am also currently studying the Russian language and I am using this application to store my study notes and additional material. I am still new to the appl, but it seems really easy and fun to use!

    Thanks for the Tip

Now, I'm going to up the ante
can you link to numbers that are updating?
So if I have a shared notebook and people are updating numbers in different pages can I create a formula that spans pages and updates?

    Re: OneNote (All)

Wow Catherine, I am not the person to ask. I have just started using OneNote very recently. I happened to discover the calculation aspects when I was reading through the Getting Started notes. AFAI-Can-See, it does not seem to possess this ability (however, I can be entirely wrong!!) The problem is how to refer to calculations? This is just an entry on the page and does not seem to have a reference point to link to other calculations. A quick Google did not provide any positive confirmations to link calculations either.

This is just my uneducated guess?!!

    Re: OneNote (All)

Well, I found that you could tag the calculations, this would allow you to see the information in the tag summary - and thus span several pages.

    But the rest...
