Add ins in Access 2007 (2007)

I have an add in that created a smart form that could be used to filter an Access table. It worked great in previous versions of Access. I cannot get it to work in 2007. I have checked to see that it is installed, I have set the folders (I have copied it to several folders not knowing for sure which it should reside in) to be trusted and yet when I try to create a form it is not a form wizard that I can choose from.

    What am I doing wrong?

    TIA
    Bret

Can you tell us the name of the add-in? Perhaps someone who has Access 2007 knows something about it.

I see that Anthony d'Ambra (Aadconsulting) already has several products for Access 2007, so you might contact him to ask he knows of compatibility problems of Smart Form with Access 2007. Click the Contact link on Aadconsulting.Com.

    Thanks Hans,

I sent an email this last week without reply. I guess it is time to try again. In the past he has been very quick to respond. I figured it was just something stupid I wasn't doing.

Unfortunately, the archive of ACCESS Watch is not up-to-date, so that issue is not available online.

Can you provide me with a copy of the article. As Hans said, I can't find it online.

    Thanks,

    Thanks John,

I got the document, alas, it is too overwhelming for me. I guess I will chalk this up to another Access frustration. Why does it have to be so difficult? After all this time, a relational database shouldn't be this difficult.
