    Locate Link Browser (Office 2003)

When I click on a link in an email a dialog box opens titled Locate Link Browser, then a few seconds later Firefox, my default browser opens. I have never seen this dialog box before. What could be happening?

Re: Locate Link Browser (Office 2003)

Hans, that did not do it. The article you linked to applies to Outlook 2003 when used with Windows 2000. I am running Windows XP. I tried unchecking the use DDE box, but it will not stay unchecked. I looked at another computer that opens Firefox normally with out the Locate Link Browser window and the setting are the same in the file type tab.

That the checkbox re-checks itself is "normal", see the thread starting at <post:=388,402>post 388,402</post:>, and also Locate link browser - MozillaZine Forums.
