    Send/Receive Button (OL 2003)

    <img src=/S/hello.gif border=0 alt=hello width=25 height=29> Loungers

OK on the standard toolbar of Outlook 2003 there is a dropdown button for Send/Receive. If you press the arrow on that button you will get a list of all your e-mail accounts and you can choose which account to send and receive e-mails.

On one PC, suddenly the list of accounts is truncated. We do not see all the accounts. If you press the double arrow at the end of the list the list scroll to show only a partial list.

If I go to Send/Receive Settings I can see all the accounts.

Is there a limit of how many accounts show up on that dropdown, and if so can it be user chosen?

If not, what is a good strategy to access the hidden accounts easily? Grouping them will be OK, but what if someone wants to send/receive only one of the hidden accounts?

    Thanks again

How many accounts are displayed in the truncated list?

OK the list has 4 Groups on the top, and then 33 accounts. When you scroll the list using the double arrows at the bottom you will see another 16 accounts for a total of 49 accounts visible out of 83 or so total accounts on that particular PC. The accounts are arranged in alphabetical order and span from A to W but only show the accounts from A to O.

    Thanks again

    Why would anyone need 83 e-mail accounts? <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

BTW, 49 does indeed appear to be the limit - see How to get *all* accounts to show up on the Send/Receive dropdown?
