    Editing a Report (Access 2003)

    Hi,

Today is my first day of playing with Access and I dont really know that much about it.

One report in particular, when I run it a message stating "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'tblClients1'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly".

I understand the message but I dont know how to edit the report to change the input table. Any suggestions please?

    Many Thanks.

With the report in Design view, go to the VIEW menu and select Porperties. Select the DATA tab and click the arrow to open a drop down list of data sources. The data source you select must have the fields that match your report.

The report was obviously originally built with tblClients1 as the data source and then the table was deleted or the name changed.
    Thanks
