    Saving Tables (2003)

Some time ago I had help with taking a sort of 'snapshot' of a table <post#=599752>post 599752</post#>. This has worked fine, but as usual things have got complicated. Now we have to criteria, Problems and Innovations. One week the report is run for Problems, the week after Innovations. This means that if the Problems report is run, and the table saved, when Innovations is run, the query looks at the saved table which will be the Productions result. Can any help me with this? It's far beyond my knowledge. Hope I've explained it clearly.

You could create two separate make-table queries, one for Problems and the other for Innovations, with different names for the tables to be created. Depending on the week, run one or the other.

Base the comparison queries on the appropriate tables.

Looking at the other queries, I might have to duplicate those as well. It's more complicated than I had hoped. Thanks for your advice though Hans.

Somehow, these things are always more work than you initially anticipate. Good luck!
