Bulleted List w/i One Cell (Excel 2002 SP3)

Hi - I would like to add a list in a cell using bullets and hard returns.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Excel is not a full-blown text processor such as Word. There is no built-in support for bulleted lists.

You can specify that a cell should wrap text in the Alignment tab of Format | Cells. It's best also to set vertical alignment to Top.
You can enter a bullet by typing Alt+0149 (hold down Alt, type 0149 on the numeric keypad, then release Alt).
You can enter a new line in a cell by pressing Alt+Enter.
You won't get an automatic hanging indent, though.

Another option is to use two columns: a narrow one to enter the bullets in, the way I described above, and a wider column next to it to enter the text.

The attached screenshot illustrates the various approaches.

This is a great solution and thank you so much for your fast response. I'm off to make a list.
