Word printing to ByPass tray (Office 2003 SP2)

Client is able to print to the bypass tray from Excel but not from WORD. No other users have this issue. Client's profile works on other PCs and to other printers from the same PC. Steps others have already taken include uninstall and reinstall of printer; repair on Office; deletion of normal.dot and I am waiting to hear if creating a new user profile eliminates the issue. Word for this client will print labels and envelops as expected but just won't print to the bypass feeder tray.

Are these envelopes being printed through the Envelopes dialog or are they a page in the document? In the first case, the Options in the dialog should override any paper tray settings in the document. In the second case, the envelope section's paper trays should override the printer defaults. If the print engine is ignoring the paper tray settings, then you might look at the other steps in the Systematic Approach post.
