insufficient space for installation (Win XP Pro sp2)

I have an antique copy of Outlook 98 I use for utility purposes and have installed it several places over the years but I just got a new computer with plenty of drive space (85G free). I'm trying to install it but I keep getting an "insufficient space for installation" message saying it needs 45M of free space.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Outlook 98 is from a time when hard disks were *much* smaller. The installation procedure probably cannot handle today's disk sizes and computes the free space incorrectly. Can you create a small partition (max 2 GB or so) for Outlook 98?

    Hans -

Good point, it would be awkward trying to do that on this machine, the IT guys have it locked down but I tried installing it using the compatibility wizard set to Win98 and it ran.

    Thanks,
