Office 2007 in dual boot (2007 pro)

My PC can dual boot between Vista Ultimate and XP Pro - the first for the 'OW' experience and the latter for getting work done. I've got Office 2007 running under XP Pro and everything is hunky dory. I'd like to be able to run the Office 2007 under Vista as well - or at least Word. (Anyone else noticed that Vista WordPad no longer does .DOC?).
I presume the MS licence allows this - it's the same PC, but I can't think of a safe and sure way how to do it.
Anyone have any experience of this?

Installing into a different location -- with no shared files -- seems safest. Is that possible??
