Do you mix and match your scanner software?

Possibly you like your image scanner’s hardware just fine.

But you have nothing but criticism for the software that comes with it. What can you do about that?

Forum member PCLearner dislikes the software that comes with his Canon scanner and asks for recommendations for alternatives that don’t break the bank. He’s given lots of suggestions, but he’s also informed that using third-party software will not improve the quality of the scan. Is that true or false? Read more»
