Lounge member hobkirk was aghast to learn from GoDaddy that a domain name he’d owned, paid for, and locked had been suddenly transferred to someone else.

Further, GoDaddy told him, the new registrar of the domain would not assist with the return of the domain name to hobkirk, and GoDaddy was merely a former registrar with no control over it.
