When ad-blocking tool blocks good popups

Kathleen Atkins

Lounge member ldb discovered recently that not all popups are vehicles for ads and viruses.

Ldb found theFlickr photo app baffling. Why did the photos he uploaded several times disappear every time he left the webpage? With help from Loungers in the Social Media forum, he found Flickr’s previously missing Upload button. His ad-blocking app had blocked this essential Flickr component.
