I use an excellent free extension for FireFox and the Mozilla Suite called SpellBound [1] that will check the spelling in any web form. Make sure you follow the installation instructions carefully. Internet Explorer users can use the new Google Toolbar [2] which includes a quite usable spell-checker or, better still, install the free plug-in IESpell [3], a long time fave of mine before I moved to Firefox.
