New crews of jokesters and wags have taken up the task memorably performed by “Candid Camera” — recording the reactions of innocent bystanders to enactments of public pranks.

For maximum hilarity, the pranksters often persuade an innocent passerby to stop and accept the role of dupe, which is what happens in this video. (Nobody was injured in any of the footage we see.) Play the video
