    Norton Antivirus 2006

I am running Norton Antivirus 2006 on a Windows XP2 machine. My subscription is coming up for renewal and I have received an email from Symantec offering me Norton 360 at a discount. Is this a good move? What are the relative merits of the two programs? Should I upgrade or just stick with renewing NAV 2006? Any comments or experiences would be most helpful. I have heard that Norton 360 can sometimes slow the system down. Is this correct?

    Re: Norton Antivirus 2006

According to Norton 360 Reviews. Internet security and firewall Reviews by CNET.. Norton 360 is lighter on resources than Norton Internet Security 2007. The user reviews on the same site (Norton 360 Ratings. Internet security and firewall User Opinions.) are much less enthousiastic.

I don't have Norton 360, but I do use Norton AntiVirus 2007, and it appears to be less resource-hungry than previous versions.
