    Updating a query (Access 97)

    I know this may seem juvenile to those of you who do this all the time, but I can not seem to figure out how to do this. I have a program that is looping through a bunch of different files and updating a table in Access each time. What I need to figure out is how to, within this loop, access the query to update it, and then print the results to either another table or to a form, something like that. Only when I update the query each time I do no want my old results that I printed to the other table erased? Hope that make sense- Thanks in advance!!!!!

    Hello, I believe that the query is updated automatically when accessed after the table is updated. Thus if you have an APPEND query to add the data to a table that is used by the report (form) accessing it after the initial table is updated.
    I hope this gives you an idea or solves the problem.
