    Express 2008 iso (Express)

I've downloaded the 2008 Express studio '.iso' to enable me to install this software. However, the file type/ extension is not recognised. How can I then 'run' this file to install the software? I thought Windows (XP SP2) would understand this file-type? Andy.

An .iso file is an image of a complete CD-ROM. You can use a program such as Nero or Roxio to create a CD from the .iso file, then run the CD. See How to Write ISO Files to CD.

You can also use Microsoft's free Virtual CD control panel to "mount" the .iso file as if it were a CD. See Small, Free Way to Use and Mount Images (ISO files) Without Burning Them
