See However, whenever I do an Open or Save As, I only get the Vista Open File dialog box. Is the My Places dialog available in Word 2007 on Vista? Thanks.

The Places Bar is only available in Office 2007 on Windows 2000, XP or 2003. On Windows Vista, you get the new Vista file dialogs instead of the Office file dialogs. The Navigation Panel on the left hand side is more flexible than the Places Bar, with Favorite Links and Folders that can be used in Explorer too.
