docs not found by email client (word 2003)

I use gmail as email client. I compose doc in word but can not find in folder when trying to attach to gmail message. It appears some docs are saved with blue titles and some with black titles. Can not find the docs saved with black titles. Advise?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

The 'Attach a file' dialog in Gmail is a standard file dialog, if you have selected 'All files (*.*) in the 'Files of type' dropdown at the bottom of the dialog it should display all files in a folder.
The color if file names in Windows Explorer and in the file dialog depends on your Windows color scheme, so we'd need to know your color scheme to say something about the difference of black and blue file names.
