    Reply Account (2007 SP1)

    For e-mail replies, is it possible to force Outlook to use a specific account for one person only? I have one new contact and when I reply I want to be sure I don't use the wrong account (you know what it's like when you're in a rush).

    I believe that by default, Outlook will reply on the account into which the message was received. Haven't checked in 2007 to confirm this.

    If you want to change the account, that is not a built-in feature, but you can inspect every message when you click Send and take action at that time. Here's an example of a macro that prompts the user each time: post #473448. You probably want something more automatic. I'm sure it can be done, but requires time to code and test.

    By the way, I assume these are POP accounts or your personal Exchange Server account, and not other peoples' accounts (e.g., delegated access on Exchange Server).
