1. ## Perpetual Calendar (2003 SP2)

Evening all

I have found a perpetual calendar WB here http://www.ss64.com/office/index.html and am trying to change it so that it starts in January and not April. At the moment the April Cell, A3, has this formula =DATE(\$A\$2,4,1) (cell A2 being the cell where the year is entered), I thought that if I changed the formula to =DATE(\$A\$2,1,1) it would show January, which it does but it does not update the days in C3 - AG3 .

The formula in C3 is =IF(MONTH(DATE(\$A\$2,4,C\$2))=4,DATE(\$A\$2,4,C\$2),"") but I have tried changing all sorts of things but can't seem to make it change to corrospond with the calendar.

Any help would be appreciated so that I can understand what is going on

Cheers

Steve

[A3]=DATE(\$A\$2,1,1)
[C3]=IF(MONTH(DATE((\$A\$2,MONTH(\$A3),C\$2))=ROW()/3,DATE(\$A\$2,MONTH(\$A3),C\$2),"")
Copy and paste in all days
[A6]=DATE(\$A\$2,MONTH(A3)+1,1)
Copy and paste in all months (Col A)

Hi Servando

Thanks for your assistance, I could not unfortunately get that formula for C3 to work, whether I copied and pasted it our retyped it it kept giving an error. Tinkering about though I found that the formula in C3 if changed to =IF(MONTH(DATE(\$A\$2,<font color=red>1</font color=red>,C\$2))=<font color=red>1</font color=red>,DATE(\$A\$2,<font color=red>1</font color=red>,C\$2),"") and A3 as you said to =DATE(\$A\$2,1,1), for February A3=DATE(\$A\$2,2,1) and C3 =IF(MONTH(DATE(\$A\$2,<font color=red>2</font color=red>,C\$2))=<font color=red>2</font color=red>,DATE(\$A\$2,<font color=red>2</font color=red>,C\$2),"") etc. it will work fine

Cheers

Steve
