    SetDocumentDirty (2003/SP3)

When opening multiple documents I receive a Run-Time error 509. The SetDocumentDirty command is not available because the document is locked for editing. The document is being opened up via automation, printed then closed. Any idea why this error would occur?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

I found one similar question in the newsgroups: Run-Time error: '509' SetDocumentDirty command not available, but although it's more than 2 years old, it hasn't been answered.

SetDocumentDirty is an old WordBasic command that is used in the Print option in the right-click menu of .doc files, but it is not clear to me why it would be invoked when using Automation. SetDocumentDirty would indeed fail if the document can't be edited.
