    Outlook defaults to My Documents when saving attachments, and you have to tediously click on successive folders to get the one you want, each time.

    I came across a tip which adds an item to the Places bar (the icons on the left when you do File -> Save), to reduce the number of clicks to get Outlook to save attachments to where you want.

    Don't know if this has been pointed out before, but it's new to me!

    It has been mentioned before (see Post 341467) but that was quite a while ago, and it doesn't hurt to bring such a useful tip to users' attention again.

    JohnBF's Outlook Attachment Removal Manager lets you save attachments and replace them with hyperlinks in the e-mail message. It has an option to remember the last folder used to save attachments.
