We are using Outlook 98 in my office. And to connect to the internet we go through a proxy server. I am trying to set up Outlook to check my POP3 mail accounts. I set the POP3, SMTP server settings, and the incoming mail server settings the same as I have at home ( I do not use a proxy server at home). I also set Outlook to connect using my LAN connection, and left the default server port settings. For some reason every time I try to check the internet mail I get a message saying the server can not be found. I assume it is due to the proxy server. What do I need to change to make this work?
