I have a problem with my DVD Writer. When I try to write a DVD or CD, it shows all the writing process and shows that the disk is burned successfully but when I check it, the disk will be empty. I have Acer Aspire 4530 laptop (1.9GHz AMD QL-60 processor, 1 GB RAM, Windows XP Professional SP3).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, updating them using DriverMax software, using several products to burn images like Nero Lite, Ashampoo Burning Studio 2007, ImgBurn, DeepBurner and so on. Nothing worked. Every program successfully burns the disk but when I check after burning, the disk is empty. Even the disk shows activity when burning.
So, please help me solve this problem. I have tried many things but cannot solve this problem.

Try a different brand of discs. Check that you have the right size discs,
Check what types and sizes your make and model of writer will take.

Don't throw those discs away just yet...
Recheck your discs on someone else's computer and on your laptop multiple times.
If you didn't recieve errors during the burn, there is a good chance that they have been burned
and something about your computer is not reading them properly.
I say this because I have run into instances where reinserting the disc into the tray multiple times
finally has them where they can be read. Check your "autoplay" settings as well.

    Troubleshooting Guide
Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

Build your own system; get everything you want and nothing you don't.
    Latest Build:
    ASUS X99 Deluxe, Core i7-5960X, Corsair Hydro H100i, Plextor M6e 256GB M.2 SSD, Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum 32GB DDR4@2666, W8.1 64 bit,
