I have a rather bizarre question that only a true registry buff would be able to answer. Or perhaps you guys can direct me to a good source for this information.

I want to add to a 'Control Panel' -- the Internet Security Control Panel specifically. I recognize this information is stored in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentV ersionInternet SettingsSO]. I want to add a new category, then some radio button options. The radio button options need to control another section of the registry in such a way that is the button is selected, the registry value in question is changed accordingly.

OK, that is VERY easy to do. I already have this part in place and working fine -- no big deal.

Now the twist is this: everything works great -- as long as the "CheckedValue" value is a DWORD or a String Value. HOWEVER, it does NOT seem to work if the CheckedValue is a Binary value. WHY NOT? Is there anyway around this, or does Win98 just not allow this?

Thanks for ANY assistance.
