I just got a new Dell XPS 8100 so had to go to Live Mail in Win7 Home Premium from Outlook Express 6 on a WinXP system. When I imported my OE address book to WLM, it pulled all the contacts from GROUPS and put them in with the individual contacts. So from having 350 or so individual contacts, I now have 575 or so. Most of those I don't want in the individual contacts because either I don't need them or the group list is old and not used anymore. I do still have the GROUPS showing separately. Is there any easy way to get rid of the individual names that populated the indivdual list without going one by one? Yikes this is what I hate about updating to a new program - the amount of time to get things working right - if even possible. Thanks.

It looks like you will be going one on one for this unless you could prune/remove some of those contacts prior to importing them.
Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

Build your own system; get everything you want and nothing you don't.
