Box keeps popping up in outlook?

My sister in law emailed me and said this
"i am in outlook and i keep getting that blasted box popping up

    it says

and wants me to do something ...... ahhhhhh it is going on for 3 days now! "
She also said this because I asked her is there was anything else it said.

"enter network password at the top
    then within is says
type your user name and password.
these are in the box typing areas"
I do not use Outlook so I am not sure what to do. What is causing this and what can she do to keep it from keeping on popping up?

Outlook is trying to log into the POP3 server at in order to pick up mail.
It is logging in with the account (normally her email address)
and using the password obliterated by asterisks.
It looks like the id and password are not being accepted by the POP3 server. Each time Outlook tries to do an automatic receive of emails this will happen and the box will appear. Outlook is hung until she enters a valid login ID and password.

She needs to check her login ID and password at and make sure they are correct and that her email account there is still valid, and that the email server is accessible from where she is located. Might be best to log in via webmail, if available, to see what is going on.
