    Mysterious Empty Folders

    Mysterious empty folders have started appearing in my C:\Users\Roy\AppData\Local folder,for example one created today when I started my computer named {ACA06564-1AB3-4165-824A-4FA3DB4A62CA}

    Does anyone have any ideas about this behaviour?

    Please advise.

    Folders with GUID names are usually associated with installations, either for software or for updates. Process Monitor from sysinternals (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s...rnals/bb896645) should be able to tell you what process is accessing that folder.
