Get Word to Print Each New Row

I've got a file in Word 97 that I use as a log for another program. Whenever this other program runs something, it exports a row into this word file.
What I would like to do is, each time a row gets added (imported) into this word file, I would like it to print that row, and that row only, onto my dot matrix printer.
Any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, James

Re: Get Word to Print Each New Row

Is that program that logs to Word VBA capable? If it is then it is a simple task using VBA. If not then you would need to post the question to a forum that deals with that program because that is where the smarts are being run from.

If the program is VBA capable, what code do you use to add the row? While you still have the Application Object, add a couple of lines which select the row and then print the selection.
