    Monthly Reports (97/SR2)

With help from this forum, I put together a neat little dialog box, where the user can input a date range and then get reports generated for only those dates. I thought it was pretty cool, but of course they want more.

Is there a way to have the dialog box contain 2 list boxes, one with the months of the year and the other with years. The user could then select the month and the year that they want the report for. Also would be nice if there was a way to make the boxes default to the current month and year. Don't know if this can be done, but if it can I'm sure somebody out there has done it. Thanks.

Boy, you've got some lazy users! Use combo or list boxes. For the Month control, use a value list with a rowsource of "1;January;2;February;......". Set column widths so first column is 0; that way users will only see the month names. The default values can be set using the Month and Year functions; example: Year(Date).
