Adding Page Number Links to TOC entries in Master TOC made from RD Fields

We have several Word documents we have to keep separate. We then generate a table of contents using RD fields in a separate document. We then combine the documents into a single PDF. Is there a way for this separate master TOC document to have working hyperlinks on the TOC items and/or page numbers that translate into working links in the PDF? Thanks!! Troy

    Hi Troy,

Rather than using the TOC/RD combination, I'd suggest a singel TOC with an INCLUDETEXT field for each document. In fact, you could even change the 'RD' in the RD fields to 'INCLUDETEXT'. What you'd then have is a document with all of the content and a TOC that points to that content. Plus, there'd be no need to combine the PDFs later - the natural output from this document would already have all the content.
