Marking Sent Message copies as read?

Is there a way to move a copy of specific sent messages to a special folder but have them marked as read?

Can't you setup a rule for sent messages to do what you want?

Joe, I don't see a "Mark as Read" in the Sent Messages rule choices.

I wouldn't think you'd have to mark a sent message as read.

I wouldn't have thought so either, but I have a folder that I keep all the msgs inbound from a certain party, and then I set up a rule that msgs sent to that party would be copied into the same folder. They get copied, but they show up as unread.

    ?

It appears that you'd have to use VBA to do this. See Mark Sent Items as Read After Copying with a Rule for details.
