    Question Question for Table Summarize Macro

    Hi Macropod, Thank you for the tutorial on Microsoft Word Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge Tutorial which helped me solved most of my problems.
    I am now to the last step, which is running the table summarize macro to give a total figure for each table.
    The issue I came across with is that the macro won't pick up negative numbers.

    I am a fresh starter for VBA, and don't know where to amend. Could you please help me? Thank you!

    The Table Summarize Macro merely inserts a standard Word field - {=SUM(ABOVE)}, which does support negative numbers formatted as, for example, -5, (5), -$5 and ($5). It doesn't support numbers with the sign after the number or, for example, $(5). Once updated, the field is converted to plain text, leaving only the results of the calculation. The question arises, therefore as to what number formatting you're using for the negative values.
