Office 2003 Professional on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

I'm a diehard Office 2003 user - well I have too much investment in customisation, VBA and knowledge to want to change if I can avoid it !

I'm about to get a couple of laptops with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

Are these two going to be compatible ?
    Any limitations ?
Any tips re installation and use ?

    Many thanks,

Yes, it works fine. Just yesterday I installed Office 2003 on my sister-in-law's christmas gift, a new Win7 Home Premium x64 laptop. (At her age she had no interest in learning all that "ribbon" garbage of the new versions, so adamantly wanted to stick with 2003.)

The only issue I ran into was every time you tried to launch one of the programs (Word, Excel, etc) it would popup the EULA first. Ticking "I agree" let you continue, but the EULA would popup again next time.

Fortunately, the solution is simple. Find any one of the program exe's, right-click and run as administrator just that one time. Now when you accept the EULA it will stick and won't popup again next time. You do not need to always run as administrator, just the one time to get the EULA acceptance to stick.
