    Build 10158-Insider Builds

I received a notification that my Microsoft Account needs attention to continue getting new builds, but when I clicked the notification all it leads to is an option to stop getting new builds! How can I fix this?

Joe,I get a notification reading "Settings. Get insider builds. Insider builds settings need attention". Clicking the notification leads to advanced options stating "Get Insider builds. Your Microsoft account requires attention to get insider builds". Below that it says "Fix me" but clicking that leads to a window reading "Stop Insider builds. We need you to do a few things to stop receiving builds". I wish to continue receiving builds, so what can I do?

Fu r t her to my post #3, every time I try to check for updates the notification appears, so until the problem is resolved it seems that I cannot get build 10159 or any other new build.

Hello. I got a like message, it said that I needed to validate my 10158 with a product key. I had copied that key from the D/L site and after entering it, it was rejected. The page mentioned what a product key is and gave the last 4 characters. That matched the key that I had but still it would not accept it. Why is a key needed in W-10 TP ? Key finder gives me the exact same key.

Oh wonders of beta testing ! All best wishes. Jean.

Jerry, greets. That is the key in mine too, I re-entered it twice and twice the same result. But, I had my clone beside me and re-cloned it. This request to validate has not reared it ugly head again. Sure gets me wondering !
Thanks for your support. All best wishes. Jean.

I got fed up with getting the same notification every time I tried to update Windows. Finally I found a link from which I was able to download the .iso file for build 10159. I ran the setup.exe file from within Windows 10 and upgraded from build 10158 to 10159 without any problems, and Windows Update now works properly. (I did not have to input a key).

    The download link is:
