Macrium Reflect Out Of Memory Problem Solved

I kept getting out of memory messages when trying to perform either full or incremental backups with Reflect, and when this happened I had to close Reflect. I could not understand this because I was checking memory use with Task Manager before attempting the backups, and found I had plenty of physical and virtual memory available. I took this up with Macrium's support, and they suggested I try the Microsoft fixit referred to in the following link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947246

I did so and have had no problems with Reflect since.

I am posting this in case it helps any other lounge member with the same problem.

Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.

That was my reaction. I'm afraid I have no idea.
