Something unidentified starts with Win10 and each time it sleeps

    Hello everyone,

Is anyone else getting some file that tries to start with Windows? When I start my laptop or walk away for a few minutes and come back, I get a screen asking how I want to open some mysterious file. I've tried all 8 or so options, (open as image, text file, etc.) when I choose each I acts like it's trying to create a file. When I look at startup, everything in there makes sense, except the RunDLL32. Following the link it's doing nothing more than starting the RunDLL32 file in the correct Windows directory (not some odd location that would indicate a virus/malware), with no additional commands. I can disable this, but am not sure if it's a necessary process, so don't want to damage my system.

Anyone else get this mysterious file that wants to run but doesn't apparently exist? Seems like a leftover from an install process that didn't clean up after itself properly.

I am running CIS Premium with daily updates and it's not giving any alarms.

Run Malwarebytes Free and remove the junk that seems to be on your box.
